Ciar?n is the latest of the ? Maonaigh family of Gaoth Dobhair to excel in music. Not alone is he an ? Maonaigh, but his mother is a sister of the late Frankie Kennedy, so he has music from both sides of his family. On this recording he firmly establishes his reputation as a fine Donegal fiddler. Dermot McLaughlin joins him on some of the tunes, with guitar accompaniment by John Blake.
