The Irish uilleann bagpipe has the technology to provide a full accompaniment, and has no need of other instruments to fill out the sound. Leo Rickard is an experienced piper from the fishing community of Howth, County Dublin his uncle Jimmy Rickard played the uilleann pipes before him and his brother Dave is a highly regarded warpiper. In the great Claddagh tradition of piping by such masters as Leo Rowsome, Dan O'Dowd and many more - players who were not afraid to perform without the safety net of accompanying musicians.
