Tulla accordionist Andrew Mac Namara and London fiddler Karen Ryan first played music together at the Feakle Festival in 1991. Since then, they've played together in Feakle, Galway and London. Joined in the last few years by Karen's husband, Liverpool pianist Pete Quinn, the trio have played some high-powered sessions as part of the Feakle Festival at Pepper's Bar each August.
"This album features a selection of classic traditional tunes, plus a few East Clare gems, which we have enjoyed playing over many years of friendship." Andrew, Karen and Pete
"This is exquisite duet playing, honest music with a calm heartbeat that bridges the generations and transports one in time to the London of the 1950, 60s and 70s. This is music with pedigree, with respect, a celebration of what has gone before, music with a rhythm that will relax the pulse. It will linger in the ear long after the last note has played." Noel Hil
