THE BANKS OF MY OWN LOVELY LEE (A & JC Shanahan) If, as Corkionans hold, Cork is the real capital of Ireland then this must be the real National Anthem. 8. CILL MHUIRE (Trad) This song sings the praises of Kilmurray near Macroom in Co. Cork. 9. THE GREEN GLENS OF ANTRIM (Trad) This haunting song sings the praises of Antrim's breathtaking glens. 10. THE WORK OF THE WEAVER (Trad) The title gives us a clue to the subject matter of this lilting Scottish ballad. 11. THE ROSE OF ARRANMORE (Trad) Another emigration song - this time the author vows to return home to the island of Arranmore to claim the love of his life. 12. BEAUTIFUL CITY (Trad) Some Cork folk think this should be the Anthem.
