It was a passion she'd left on a shelf for three decades, but Camp's Nora Rice finally re-engaged with singing upon her return from England - and since then she has produced 2 excellent CDs, which are now available from Claddagh Records.'I was born into a farming background. As a child I enjoyed the outdoor life. I had a very carefree childhood. I always loved traditional music and song. At a very young age I attended various competitions and concerts. As I got older I started singing in our local pubs. I immigrated to England in 1981. Work took over for 3 decades hense l was not singing at all. I returned home to Ireland 2010. Surrounded by the music culture again I started my singing once again. Met old and new friends on the process. I decided to record an album in 2016 titled Nora's Favourites. An appropriate name as those songs were sung in my youth. It was my bucket list to do this. Through popular demand from my first CD I was encouraged to record another a couple of years later named Lifes Journey. This is another selection of folk/Trad songs. I love the rawness of Irish traditional music. Hope you enjoy these albums. Regards Nora'
