In the blink of an eye, 30 years of my career in music has flown by. Making music, meeting fans, travelling around the country and overseas, performing for you all... it still brings me the same happiness as it did all those years ago when I released my first song called 'Nell'. It makes me smile to look back at all the songs I've recorded and all the videos I've made, all with wonderful people who have been so supportive along the way. Those were the days! I'm also looking forward to the days ahead and bringing this new album to you. 'Songs like My Mother from the County of Mayo' and 'Our House Is a Home' are very dear to me and I hope you'll love them just as much as I do. Here's to the next 30 years of great music and lots of fun with friends on the road!' - Shawn.
