On this live 1984 concert, we hear these four legendary singers in one of their best. New York audiences have always been partial to the Clancy Brothers' music, if only because there are so many immigrants - and their descendants - living on the Island City. This concert at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Centre captures the synergy between the Clancys and their adoring fans: fans they garnered through constant dedication to spreading the Irish Gospel. 'Reunion' highlights include the boisterous working-man's song 'Haul Away Joe', the great drinking song 'Jug of Punch', and the beautiful love song 'Will You Go Lassie Go'. Perhaps the concert's high point, however, is 'Holy Ground', a romping march heightened by the audience's joyous clapping.
